Catholic Superintendent Set To Retire

Come next school year, there will be a new face in the superintendents chair at the Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education. David Leahy announced his retirement this week through an open letter to all division staff. He will be done at the end of September. After nearly 30 years with Medicine Hat Catholic, Leahy said his decision is based upon his health, family and a new calling. Details on the process to replace Leahy are expected from the board in the next couple of weeks.
