Saskatoon beat Medicine Hat 4-3. Boston Leier, Blake Penner and Curtis Valk had the goals for the Tigers.
Saskatoon was the hottest team in the league with 10 straight wins going into Saturday's game at the Arena. Meantime, the Medicine Hat Tigers were looking to build on their 5 game winning streak, which started out on the right track. Boston Leier and Blake Penner scored within the first five minutes of the game, but that's the way it stood until the third period. The Saskatoon Blades netted back to back power play goals just before the halfway mark of the third. Curtis Valk got the edged back for the Tigers with a goal at 10:56, but Saskatoon would go on to score two more in the next four minutes to secure a 4-3 victory. Cam Lanigan made 34 saves for the Tigers in the losing cause.
