Milestone For Rattlers Basketball Player

Rattlers post Landace McClughan became the third person in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference history to reach 800 rebounds.

The Medicine Hat College basketball teams squared off with Red Deer College this weekend. On the women's side, the Rattlers picked up a pair of victories over the Queen's, 73-49 Friday and 60-50 Saturday. During that Friday night game, Rattlers post Landace McClughan became the third person in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference history to reach 800 rebounds. The 5th year nursing student from Regina finished the game with 806. The Rattler women now have a record of 12-8, good enough for 8th place in the ACAC standings. In men's action, the Rattlers split their weekend with the Kings. Friday, Red Deer hammered MHC 103-74. The Rattlers would rebound in the Saturday game for a 72-65 victory. That improved MHC's record to 9-11, putting them in 10th spot in the ACAC standings.
