Tigers Grab 6th Place In WHL Eastern Conference

Elgin Pearce opened up the scoring 3:58 into the first period and Curtis Valk added a pair before it was over. Goaltender Cam Lanigan posted the shutout with 32 saves, his third with the Tigers.

With a record of 29-26-2-1, the Medicine Hat Tigers sit in 6th place in the WHL's Eastern Conference with 61 points. For the time being, that's 1 ahead of Swift Current and 2 ahead of Lethbridge. The Tigers will try and build on their four game winning streak as they return home for a three game home stand, starting with Prince George Friday night.
