Tigers Miss Playoffs After Tiebreaker Loss To Edmonton

The Medicine Hat Tigers will miss the playoffs for the first time in 13 years, after a 6-4 loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings on Tuesday (Mar. 22) night. Caleb Fantillo, Chad Butcher, Mark Rassell, and Mason Shaw had tallies for the Tigers in the tiebreaker. Tuesday's game also marked the final major junior career games for Ty Stanton, Brian Williams, and Mack Shields. The Tabbies finish with a 30-37-3-2 record in the regular season. Edmonton will go on to play the Brandon Wheat Kings in the first round of the 2016 WHL Playoffs. - Logan Piekema
