Tigers Trade Boston Leier To Regina

That solves their 20 year old situation, as the Tigers were over the WHL limited of three.

The Medicine Hat Tigers have traded forward Boston Leier to the Regina Pats. That solves their 20 year old situation, as the Tigers were over the WHL limited of three when Jacob Doty returned last week from the St. Louis Blues organization. "We would like to thank Boston for his tremendous contributions to the Tigers’ organization over the past four seasons,” stated Tigers’ GM and Head Coach Shaun Clouston in a release. "We wish Boston all the best in Regina.” In exchange for Leier, the Tigers are getting a second round bantam draft pick in the 2016 draft.
