Tigers Trade McVeigh And Wapple To Regina Pats

In exchange, the Tigers will get 16 year old goaltender Nick Schneider and a 3rd round pick in the 2016 WHL bantam draft.

The Medicine Hat Tigers made a deal before Fridays WHL trade deadline. Forward Logan McVeigh and goaltender Daniel Wapple have been sent to the Regina Pats. In exchange, the Tigers will get 16 year old goaltender Nick Schneider and a 3rd round pick in the 2016 WHL bantam draft. “We would like to thank Logan and Daniel for their time and contributions to the Tigers and wish them all the best in Regina,” said Tigers’ Head Coach and GM Shaun Clouston in a release. Schneider, a native of Leduc, is in his first WHL season and has played nine games with the Pats. He's posted a 3.56 goals against average and a save percentage of 0.87.
