The McCoy JV Colts captured their third consecutive championship at the Vauxhall High School Baseball Tournament.

The McCoy JV Colts captured their third consecutive championship at the Vauxhall High School Baseball Tournament. The JV Colts met a team from Fort Macleod in the finals and beat them 11-6. Cam Geiger led the offense with two doubles, an RBI and three runs scored. The JV Colts finished the tournament with a perfect 3-and-oh record.

In high school baseball exhibition play Saturday, the Monsignor McCoy Colts split a doubleheader against the University of Calgary Dino's JV team. The Colts lost the opening game 8-7, but rebounded to win the nightcap 11-10. Matt Stark drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Medicine Hats Jr. B Tier 2 Sun Devils had a pair of road wins over the weekend. Saturday in Okotoks; Adam Hertz, Jeff Steiert, Charlie Liebrecht and Dylan Reynolds each had three goals in the Sun Devils 21-3 victory over the Ice. A closer game against the Calgary Axeman on Sunday, which the Sun Devils won 15-7. Again, Jeff Steiert and Charlie Liebrecht picked up three goals each.

Medicine Hats J.r B Tier 3 Sun Devils picked up two wins at the Kinplex this past weekend. Friday night it was a 9-5 victory over the Lethbridge Barracudas . Tanner Kobly had a pair of goals in that game. On Saturday, the Sun Devils doubled up on the Calgary Mavericks 12-6. Brody Smith had a great game with five goals for Medicine Hat.
