2018 Stampede Night Shows Announced

The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede brings more crowd-pleasing acts to entertain this year.

It promises to be another great year of night show performances at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede.  Announced Tuesday morning was Alberta natives Corb Lund and High Valley will entertain the Wednesday, July 25 performance.  Thursday, July 26 will have country music legend Tanya Tucker on stage and the Saturday wrap-up show on July 28 will feature Huey Lewis and the News.  Entertainment committee chair Marni Elliot says it took some time this year to solidify the line up.  Elliot says, "One of the things we always pledge, is that we are going to bring the best entertainment possible.  Sometiems for us that means waiting a little bit for the right opportunities to come along and not rushing things.  I would much rather wait and release now and bring the best possible people we can bring to the stage than to just hurry through and get somebody that's just ok."  Ticket packages start at $189 and will go on sale Thursday morning, February 8, beginning at 10:00 am from the Medicine Hat Stampede website, the Stampede office and the Medicine Hat Mall.  ~~  Warren Affleck
