Crews Continue Clean-up Operations

City workers have been tirelessly working to restore electricity and remove downed trees after Tuesday storm.

The City of Medicine Hat continues clean-up efforts following the massive Tuesday windstorm.  As of Wednesday, electrical crews say all feeders have have been restored, however there may still be customers without electricity.  Anyone still without power is asked to contact the hotline at 403-529-8260 so crews can be dispatched as soon as possible.  Work is ongoing to identify any poles that need permanent replacements.  City officials ask residents to give crews space to work and if they come across a line still down, to stay at least 10 metres back and notify the city.  ~~  Warren Affleck
