Medicine Hat Airport To Get New Restaurant

City council approved a lease agreement with operator Front Porch Classic Catering

Travelers at the Medicine Hat Regional Airport can soon look forward to a new eatery in the terminal.  City council voted last night to approve a new lease agreement to Front Porch Classic Catering to operate the restaurant.  Mayor Ted Clugston said the original plans for the new air terminal didn't have a kitchen, but that was changed after the public demanded it.  Clugston says it's certainly good news for travellers and when combined with the announcement last week WestJet would begin operations next May 31, it's a win-win for everyone.  There is no word at this time when the new restaurant would begin operations.  ~~  Warren Affleck
