The organization is dealing with an influx of all ages of cats and is hoping a November promotion will help them find homes.

The Medicine Hat SPCA is experiencing an over-crowding situation with the numbers of cats currently being housed at the facility.  Executive Director Katie Ayres says they really want to find  homes for each and every feline.  Ayres says, "We have decided to dub November, Meow-vember for the Medicine Hat SPCA to try to help adopt out some more cats.  We have about 120 in the building right now."  Ayres says the SPCA currently has reduced adoption fees for many of the cats in their care in hopes that will help find them good homes.  She encourages everyone to be sure a cat is the right fit for them and to check out the SPCA website for more information.  ~~  Warren Affleck
