The Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner MP says he hopes the Liberals don't trip from backpedalling on the issue.
The Federal Liberals this week announced plans to rollback small business taxes by 1.5% over the next 2 years. Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner MP Glen Motz says this is a government backpedalling after hearing a large public outcry on the proposed changes. Motz says while it's a start, the Prime Minister needs to scrap the changes altogether. Motz says, "This is a step down, or it's a start of a step down. It's a step in the right direction, that should never have been taken in the first place. Nothing but a full retraction on this was going to make a difference." Motz encourages everyone in his riding to continue hammering the Prime Minister's office and those of his senior cabinet ministers over the changes to get them withdrawn from consideration. ~~ Warren Affleck
