Police Arrest 2 In Connection To B&E's

A 42 year old man and 37 year old woman from Medicine Hat are facing multiple charges

A police investigation into a rash of break and enters in the city has resulted in the arrest of 2 people.  A search warrant served at a home in the 1100 block of Steel St SE on Wednesday saw officers seize more than $110,000 in cash and collectibles they allege was stolen.  Sgt. Stacey Keslar with the Community Intelligence team outlines the charges, "A 42 year old male has been charged with being unlawfully at large, possession of stolen property in excess of $110,000, as well as laundering proceeds of crime, assaulting a police officer and possession of methamphetamine.  A 37 year old female at the residence as well has been charged with possession of stolen property and obstructing police officers."  The male and female are both facing a bail hearing and Keslar says their names will be released publicly once that process is complete.  ~~  Warren Affleck
