Red Deer Man Charged In New Year's Morning B&E

27 year old Robert Handy of Red Deer, AB. faces numerous charges and will appear again in court January 3, 2018

One person is facing numerous charges after a break and enter that saw a vehicle smash into a car dealership.  Just before 3 o'clock New Year's morning, Medicine Hat Police were called were called to Davis GMC Buick on Trans-Canada Way and discovered a stolen Honda Civic went through the doors.  A short time later, officers tried stopping a Ford F-350 driving erratically, however, a chase was called off due to safety concerns.  Later in the morning, officer found the same truck which ended up stopping because of a mechanical issue.  27 year old Robert Handy of Red Deer, Alberta was charged with several offences.  He adjourned his bail hearing and will appear in court again January 3, 2018.  ~~  Steve Krysak/Warren Affleck
