Red Deer Man Gets Bail In Medicine Hat Court

Robert Handy is accused of crashing into a car dealership and stealing another vehicle on New Years Day

The man accused in a New Years Day break and enter at a local car dealership was successful in getting bail in Medicine Hat Court.  27 year old Robert Handy of Red Deer is accused of crashing a car into the Davis GMC Buick building that morning and then stealing a truck.  Medicine Hat Police would later find the truck after it experienced a malfunction and officers arrested Handy without incident.  Handy posted $2500 cash bail and is subject to several conditions including living with his family in Red Deer.  Handy, who faces multiple charges arising from the incident, will be back in court on January 24.  ~~  Warren Affleck
