Single Vehicle Rollover Results In Only Minor Injuries

Police say all 3 occupants of the car were wearing seatbelts at the time the crash took place.

There were only minor injuries in a crash on the Trans Canada Highway this morning.  Medicine Hat Police, Fire and EMS were called out at 8:30 to the highway at the Saamis overpass after a car lost control on an icy stretch of road and hit a guardrail which caused the vehicle to roll over.  The 17 year old male driver was taken to Medicine Hat Hospital with minor injuries while the 2 passengers in the car said they were uninjured.  Investigators said speed and equipment violations were certainly contributing factors in the collision.  ~~  Warren Affleck
