Stolen Firearm Case Nabs Two Suspects

Two people are now facing charges in regards to a case of stolen guns from the Labour Day long weekend.

Two people are now facing charges in regards to a case of stolen guns from the Labour Day long weekend. City police were tipped off about a truck being stolen in Redcliff on Monday containing seven firearms. Early Wednesday morning police executed a search warrant at a home on Gray Crescent NW and found five of the reported stolen guns. Three people were taken into custody, but only two have been charged. Patrick Moore, 41, and Tiya Johnson, 25, are facing several counts each including break and enter, theft and possession of a firearm or weapon obtained by an offence, among others. Both will be in court September 16th for bail hearings.
