Stolen Vehicle Smashes Through Car Dealership Doors

Early Monday morning, the Medicine Hat Police Service was called to Davis GMC Buick on Trans-Canada Way.

One person is facing numerous charges after a break and enter that saw a vehicle smash into a car dealership. Just before 3 a.m. Monday, the Medicine Hat Police Service was called to Davis GMC Buick on Trans-Canada Way and found a stolen Honda Civic had plowed through the doors. However, no suspects could be found at the scene. A short time later, officers tried stopping a Ford F350 driving erratically, but a chase was called off due to safety concerns. An unnamed 27 year old man is now waiting for a bail hearing, charged with:

- Break and Enter, Theft

- Possession of Stolen Property over $5000 x 2

- Dangerous Driving

- Breach of Probation x 3

- Resist Arrest

- Possession of Stolen Property under $5000
