Two people are recovering from minor injuries after a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway Sunday.

Two people are recovering from minor injuries after a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway Sunday. City police say it happened shortly before noon, when a car turning left onto 1st Street SW was struck by a westbound pickup. Officers say the car spun around and hit a chain link fence in the ditch. Both vehicles sustained extensive damages. The female driver and male passenger were transported to Medicine Hat Regional Hospital for treatment, but injuries were not life-threatening.
