There will be more options next year for Hatters flying to and from Calgary. The City of Medicine Hat today announced a deal with WestJet that will see the air carrier provide service beginning May 31. In a press release Mayor Ted Clugston says the city has been committed to increasing air service offering to all residents, businesses and visitors. Clugston added recent upgrades to the terminal and improvements to the runway helped bring the new service to the airport. The service will be called WestJet Link which Executive Vice President Commercial Ed Sims said underscores the company commitment to low fares and growing network. ~~ Warren Affleck
