WestJet Pushes Back Start Of Medicine Hat Service

WestJet announced the launch of its WestJet Link service is being delayed until June 22.

WestJet's launch of daily service from Medicine Hat to Calgary is being delayed a few weeks.  The company issued a press release saying the Medicine Hat service is now scheduled to start on June 22 instead of May 31.  The statement said the delay is because of Pacific Coastal continuing to work to meet WestJet's operational requirements.  The airline is already starting to reach out to those customers who have been affected by the delay.  Those customers will be offered different options including different transportation, a full refund, or a rescheduled flight.  ~~  Warren Affleck
