CJCY News - Medicine Hat and Southeastern Alberta's Radio News Team

Greg Garbutt is the CJCY's BRAND NEW News Director!  Greg brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our newsroom, has connections to the Medicine Hat Tigers and attended Medicine Hat College!  There is more to come, but please welcome Greg to our CJCY Family!  

Steve Krysak is the morning News Anchor of CJCY News.  He was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, and graduated from Lethbridge Community College in 2006 with a diploma in Communication Arts - Broadcast Journalism. Steve has worn many hats in the business including promotions assistant, reporter, anchor, producer, director, and morning show co-host in communities like Lethbridge, Grande Prairie, Lloydminster and St. Paul. Steve joined CJCY in November 2008. During his spare time he enjoys playing guitar and training for a marathon he hopes to one day run.

Courtney Amirault is the Afternoon/weekend News Anchor of CJCY.  Details to come. 

Harv Speers is CJCY's Senior Reporter.  As a former city alderman, he provides the knowledge and background needed to cover everything City Hall-related. Harv is also CJCY's Ag reporter, taking care of everything you need to know about "life on the farm." You can catch him in action each weekday at noon as he presents the CJCY Ag Report, giving the most up-to-date information on today's commodity prices. In his time away from the station Harv shares his passion for sports with several people in, and out, of the community, by heading up fantasy sports leagues.
