Medicine Hat Police and the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team made another bust in the city.

The 2 month investigation ended Sunday with a car stop between Medicine Hat and Redcliff.

Police seized more than half a kilogram of methamphetamine, along with suspected carfentanil, cocaine, and cash.

Staff Sgt. Kelsey Fraser with ALERT says the 96 grams of possible carfentanil is the most significant amount seized to date in the city.

A 44 year-old Calgary man and a 29 year-old face charges, while a warrant is out for a 36 year-old woman.
