It was a sad morning for the Alberta Pound and Rescue Centre and a little kitten named Bumble.

APARC announced on its Facebook page the 5 month old kitten had passed away.

Bumble was found in a dumpster near 15 Street SW last Friday, with plastic tubing in his throat.  It’s unknown whether the little kitten ate it himself or had it placed there.

APRAC thanked the Animal Medical Centre South Veterinary clinic and all those who made donations towards his care.

In the Facebook post, APARC asks everyone to keep their pets safe inside and hug them just a little closer tonight.
