It appears the pilot project to provide bus service between Medicine Hat and Lethbridge on Highway 3 is well accepted.

The Highway 3 Connector was launched in April as a partnership of the City of Medicine Hat, Lethbridge and Southland Transportation.

City of Medicine Hat’s Simon Amos says numbers show the service is being used.

Amos says, “There’s been a steady increase each month.  For the last month, we saw about 80 trips made, and we’ve seen increased trips made this month.”

Amos says numbers are being reported back to the province and says everyone so far is encouraged by the project.
