The Medicine Hat Police Service says they arrested a driver who was “grossly” impaired by alcohol. Around 4 p.m. Monday, police received several calls about an erratic driver on the Trans-Canada Highway. The vehicle was tracked down and the driver arrested. MHPS says he provided a breath sample that was 330mg of alcohol (0.33), or four times the legal limit. A 37 year old Cypress County man, who hasn’t been named, was charged with impaired driving, received a 15 month Alberta Administrative Licence Suspension and the vehicle was seized for 3 days.
