Officials today announced 96 new cases of COVID-19 in Alberta reported in the last 24 hours.

Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw in her daily briefing said that brings the total cases in the province to 968.

Hinshaw said there have been now 13 deaths in the province.

174 people are now being reported as recovered from the virus.

Hinshaw said there was 1 new case in Medicine Hat, bringing the count in our city to 6

Hinshaw continued to stress the importance for all Albertan’s to continue to practice physical distancing and self isolation as required.
