A Saskatchewan man is facing charges after a hit and run in the city.

Medicine Hat Police were called out this morning just before 5:30 to the 1700 block of 17 Street SE.

A Dodge Caravan had struck a car and witnesses saw the driver running from the scene.

Police Service Dog Flint was deployed and quickly found the suspect nearby.

A 21 year old male from Regina, Saskatchewan has been charged with careless driving, failure to remain at the scene of an accident, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s licence.
