Alberta Health Services says a case of Tuberculosis has been identified in the South Zone.

AHS says it happened in Brooks with the exposure occurring in a school setting and presents no risk to the general public.

Notification letters have gone out to affected persons and include information on standard TB assessment, screening and treatment, if required.

Officials say only those who receive notification letters from AHS are considered exposed to this case.

The agency says it will not be releasing any further case specific details.
